Although Libera is not a participant in the popular TV show B&B Full of Love, she regularly comes into the picture as the ex of B&B owner Hans in Italy. She lives in the bed and breakfast because Hans was unable to buy her out after their divorce in 2015. She and their daughter Angelica helped Hans pick out potential love candidates, including the much-discussed energetic Desiree, who was eventually ejected by Hans after Hayriye and Libera argued with her over not buying pickles for a tuna salad.
“In a word? Exhausting,” Libera tells the program. “Because that woman is a volcano.” About the quarrel, which has been renamed ‘pickle riot’, she says: “She drove me crazy with those pickles.” Yet it is not entirely negative. “She was also very nice and made me laugh.”
