After a long wait, the first trailer for former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher’s “Knebworth 22” documentary was released on Friday (October 21). You can watch the trailer here.
In the voiceover, Gallagher says, “You know… after the pandemic, the bills are just too high. You have to pay for this and that… And the government doesn’t even listen. So let’s all go back in time together and experience a special moment. It’s fucking wonderful.”

The film hits theaters November 17 and will be released on Paramount+ later this year. Toby L directed.
Knebworth 1996 and 2022: The background to the documentary
26 years after Oasis’ iconic performance at Knebworth, Gallagher is back on stage – this time without his bandmates. For the legendary performance of the formation in 1996, the film “Oasis Knebworth 1996” was released in 2021.
“Playing in the same venue twice for two different generations was beyond biblical. I’m so thankful we documented this. Knebworth has always been, and will always be, a celebration of my fan base and music. Enjoy the film and let’s just do it again in 26 years time.”
Recordings by Oasis at the 1996 Knebworth Festival were released on the record Knebworth 1996 (Live). However, a return of the band is ruled out.
