The former Oasis frontman then responded to other posts about the song. This is how he responded to a fan who recalled how emotional the process must have been for the surviving members: “Very sad, but beautiful at the same time. That’s life, I guess it’s confusingly charming at the same time.” He then went on to reiterate his love for the band: “The Beatles could shit in my handbag, I’d still hide my Polo Mints in it.”

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr had been working with a little help from AI over the last few months and finally completed it to their own satisfaction. The basis for the work was a demo tape by the late John Lennon. The artificial intelligence helped remove Lennon’s vocals from the demo recording, thus enabling McCartney and Starr to re-record the instrumental. The two released a short film about the exact process behind the song’s development, which documents the history and creation. The behind-the-scenes clip was released on November 1st, and “Now And Then” was released a day later.
