Liam Gallagher is no longer allowed to spin his Maracas into the audience. The reason for this are wrangling at the Reunion concerts of Oasis, in which fans were injured.
Prohibition after incidents at concerts
At the appearance in Edinburgh, Gallagher explained to the audience that he should neither throw his tamburine nor his maracas because they “cannot behave”.
“I can’t throw my Tamburin or Maracas out tonight, I was told that I should leave it. I’m not stingy or anything,” said Gallagher off the stage.
As the “Metro UK” reports, a 42-year-old woman started the Maracas at a concert in the London Wembley Stadium. Shortly afterwards, however, she was brewed by two men who snatched the instrument from her. The woman then showed photos of cutting and bruising, which she had suffered in the “terrible” incident. This probably led to the official litter ban.
“You can’t behave”
“I was told that I should no longer do such a shit because you can’t behave,” said Gallagher in Edinburgh. “You pinch each other on nipples and ears, step into the eggs and make a crap. Now it’s over.”
Fan tumbers achieve high prices
Not only the reunion itself ensures fan ecstasy: Maracas and Tamburine from previous Oasis shows are traded on the net for high sums.
The tour continued on Saturday with two concerts in Dublin. This is followed by North America, starting with two shows on August 24th and 25th in Toronto.
