Liam (14) pushed off bicycle from moving car

The fourteen-year-old boy is in shock after the incident, but he is doing relatively well. Liam suffered some bruises and abrasions to his face. “It could have ended much worse, for the same money my son falls wrong and he will not survive,” says mom Joyce displeased.

Liam was on a bike ride with some friends to a friend’s house on Thursday evening to spend the night there. The car slowed down in Ettelgemsestraat near Liam. The passenger of the car rolled down the window and gave Liam a shove. As a result, Liam lost balance on the bike and fell.

Call for witnesses

It concerns a black or dark-colored car. The mother is looking for witnesses. The incident is also on Facebook on Oudenburg’s page. Police are unable to provide any further information at this time.
