Live Fast Die Young (LFDY) appoints Alexander Pablo Steingass as new Director Finance & Operations. He will take up this position on January 1st.
With this role, Steingass is taking over the area of responsibility from the previous CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Karl Krumland, the Düsseldorf streetwear label announced on Wednesday. Krumland is retiring from the operative business at LFDY, but will remain with the company as a strategic advisor.
“My 2023 begins with a great professional opportunity and many new impulses – I am very grateful for that,” said Steingass. “I have known the LFDY brand for a very long time. I am all the more pleased to accompany the company on its exciting course of expansion.”
The new head of finance brings experience from the areas of business development, project management, restructuring and reorganization, strategy development, process optimization as well as finance and controlling. Since 2013 he has held management positions at various management consultancies, most recently at Synpulse as Head of Global Competence Center Advanced Lean and Organization Agility.
“After almost nine years, the character of my journey with the LFDY family is changing and I am retiring from the operative business as CFO/COO – and with a very good gut feeling,” says Krumland. “With Alexander Pablo Steingass, LFDY is gaining an experienced successor who will lead the Finance & Operations department with a great deal of expertise and passion.”
