Hamilton clears 100 million dollars a year.
According to Italian sources, Lewis Hamilton earns perhaps the biggest salary in F1 history at Ferrari.
Writing for Corriere della Sera, among other things Giuliano Duchessa tells, that the contract starting in the 2025 season will bring Hamilton about 100 million dollars a year. It corresponds to 92 million euros.
The amount includes a gigantic salary as well as various bonuses, sponsorship money and income from image rights.
Estimating the exact earnings of F1 drivers is difficult, but already in 2019 the economic journal Forbes counted Hamilton as the highest paid F1 driver of all time.
Last year, the British star earned 65 million dollars a year.
Forbes saysthat Michael Schumacher annual earnings rose to 80 million dollars at the beginning of the 2000s.
Hamilton will enjoy Ferrari’s salary for several years, as the team said he signed a multi-year contract. Charles Leclerc is the team mate. Ferrari secured its Monaco golden boy with a long contract already earlier.
