Lewis Hamilton was angry on the team radio to the Ferrari marching order.
Lewis Hamilton and the Ferrari team will probably have a place of development after the Feedback Exchange of the Miami race. Aop
Lewis Hamilton’s pain on Ferrari continues, and the pain was heard in team radio discussions at the Miami GP. Hamilton had great disagreements about the strategy of the stable.
Sunday’s race was again difficult for Maranello’s red stallions. Both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc ran for a long time in seven and eight in a row.
Hamilton, who took Medium tires underneath, wanted to get past the Leclerc with hard tires and begged for a team radio. He believed that he could catch Kimi Antonell Mersu, who was sixth, before the end of the race.
Initially, Ferrari told Hamilton to stay behind Leclerc for a second so he could defend himself against Carlos Sainz with the help of DRS. However, Hamilton demanded permission to skip Leclerc and go on to chase Antonell.
– This is not a good teamwork. It’s all that I say, Hamilton broke on the radio in round 38.
Hamilton reminded that he had made space for Leclerc in a similar situation in China. Ferrari’s depot wall eventually agreed to bend, and Hamilton was allowed to precede Leclerc in the next round.
However, Hamilton was ice -frozen for changing the stable order. He would have wanted a faster solution.
– We change places, change places, the race engineer informed Hamilton in round 39.
– Yeah, take the tea break in the meantime! Come is …
Ferrari changed order, but Hamilton’s ride was not enough. A couple of rounds later, it was Leclerc’s turn to complain that Hamilton is too slow and he was suffering from dirty air after the British.
The Ferrari could not drive Antonell’s lead, so the seats were returned at the end of the race four rounds before the finish. Hamilton made space for Leclerc and allowed the Monaco.
He once again wanted to demonstrate his mind to Ferrari’s tactics.
“Sainz is 1.4 seconds behind,” the race engineer announced on the radio when changing places.
– Do you want me to get ahead? Hamilton rumbled back.
The transfer of the British master to Ferrari has not gone as he would have wished. He was eighth in the Miami race and was back in the finish line after Leclerc. Hamilton is now seventh with 37 points in the standing table, while teammate Leclerc is fifth with 47 points.
In the manufacturers’ series, Ferrari is fourth behind McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull.
