Letizia of Spain and the immoderate love for red looks

Lethic of Spain and red. The Spanish queen loves this color and wears it in almost all institutional events. On the other hand it is her fetish color. She chose it last week to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Informe Semanal, the program that made her known on the public channel as a journalist on Televisión Española.

And, again, for the centenary of the “Casa del libro” bookstore in Madrid.

The queen chose on this occasion an asymmetrical top and soft orange Zara pants. As coordinated accessories a clutch and heels @magritshoes gold colour.

Letizia of Spain and that love for red

Doña Letizia loves red so much that for the Spanish press has made it a game to track down all the times she wore it. To say: a few years ago the queen wore a red suit so many times that they stopped counting. Not to mention the red cuissard boots, high and tapered, or the very high heels that she loves to wear.

While the European “colleagues” prefer shades from pastel blue to green – with the exception of Maxima of Holland who loves bright colours – Letizia Ortiz never fails in her fetish color. She is supported by the best reasons: red is the color associated with strength and royalty and is also a “patriotic” color, present in the Spanish flag. It is now her signature look.

Bon ton look

Letizia of Spain also chose red for a reception at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, the former residence of the Iberian kings. The Queen and King Felipe presided over the accreditation ceremony for the tenth edition of “Honorary Ambassadors of the Brand Spain”.
