Tineke de Nooij thinks it’s totally fine that Gordon has taken his social media offline to relax in Dubai. “If he wants to bury himself in that sandbox, then he should.”
Gordon and Tineke de Nooij were good friends for many years, but now the two seem to be having trouble with each other again. A year ago this month, Tineke made a derogatory statement on television about Gordon’s choice to emigrate to Dubai. Story boss Guido den Aantrekker would not be surprised if they argue about a corona test.

Now that Gordon has disappeared from social media to relax in Dubai, Tineke is asked for her opinion by Nieuwe Revu. “I am convinced that he is completely done with the world,” says the presenter.
She continued: “Whatever he decides, if he feels he doesn’t want to give any more interviews and wants to retire to Dubai, then he should definitely do it. When the media frenzy and entrepreneurial worries stress him so much that he wants to bury himself in the sandbox of the United Arab Emirates…”

Tineke seems to have come to terms with the fact that Gordon has emigrated. “There in Dubai, perhaps for the first time in his life he has thrown back a little more and may have developed other priorities and interests. I think that’s what’s going on.”
She concludes, apparently with some sarcasm: “Maybe he will develop in Dubai as a fantastic actor who can work in Hollywood. I wouldn’t be surprised if something like this happens.”
