Feijóo can prevent a national embarrassment by preventing Lesmes from resigning, Feijóo can prevent the conservative members who dominate the government of the judges with more than 1000 expiration days, from incurring a pseudo rebellion by not complying with the renewal of the Constitutional Court to which they are obligated.

The quality of Spanish democracy depends on each of the institutions that make up the state; compliance with the laws, so many times repeated for the Catalan issue, seems not to work for those who should be scrupulous in complying with the laws, parties and judges, even if they don’t like them. Feijóo can show that his fame as a statesman really corresponds to the facts by complying with the Constitution and Lesmes’s anger, he should not miss this opportunity.
