Lesley Bakker leaves Telstar and chooses Rijnsburg Boys

Midfielder Lesley Bakker is leaving Telstar after two seasons and will play for Rijnsburgse Boys next season. Bakker has signed a one-year contract with the second divisionist from South Holland with a unilateral option for another year.

The 20-year-old Bakker started playing football at RKSV Pancratius in Badhoevedorp and at the age of sixteen made the step to the youth of AFC and later Almere City FC. Bakker joined Telstar in the summer of 2020. In his first season, the midfielder made four appearances for the team from Velsen-Zuid. This year Bakker was in the selection ten times, but it didn’t come to minutes.

Rijnsburgse Boys is in fourth place in the second division with one round to go. Bakker’s new employer will close the season on Saturday with a game against Spakenburg.
