With Eric Dier and Sacha Boey, FC Bayern have already signed two new players in the winter transfer phase. Leroy Sané now raved highly about the German record champions’ new additions.
Sané said about Dier during a visit to the fan club in Höslwang: “He is an experienced player who has already played in big games. He is calm on the ball and takes responsibility.”
Sané is certain that Dier will also bring his experience to FC Bayern. “He will help us a lot this season,” emphasized the winger.
Dier is contractually bound until the end of the season. The 49-time England international made his debut in the Bundesliga catch-up game between FC Bayern and Union Berlin (1-0) last Wednesday.
Dier came on as a substitute for the injured Upamecano at the start of the second half and kept his team at zero. The 30-year-old was on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes against FC Augsburg (3:2).
FC Bayern: Sané is looking forward to Boey
Sacha Boey, on the other hand, is still waiting for his first appearance for FC Bayern. The Munich team confirmed the signing of the right-back on Sunday.
Boey signed a long-term contract until June 30, 2028 at Säbener Straße.
Galatasaray announced that the Munich team would pay 30 million euros plus a five million euro bonus. In addition, there is proportional income from two friendly matches. However, FC Bayern did not provide any details about the transfer fee.
Boey also received special praise from Sané. “My impressions of him are good,” said the national player, who added: “He is an aggressive player, but also very good at football. He will definitely help us and strengthen us. That’s why I hope he can improve as quickly as possible it’s possible to stand on the pitch.”
