‘Leonie ter Braak very disappointed in RTL after refusing schnabbel’

Leonie ter Braak is very disappointed in RTL now that she is not allowed to participate in the six-part series of De Tatta’s, says ratings authority Tina Nijkamp. “The series belongs to the competitor.”

She has been under a lot of fire lately: Leonie ter Braak. The presenter has switched to RTL, but only does infantile things there, such as blowing up balloons. What she did receive a lot of praise for is her role in the film De Tatta’s and its sequel. But now that there is a six-part series on Amazon Prime, she is not present.

Full agenda?

TV authority Tina Nijkamp points out that Prime is of course a competitor of RTL’s Videoland. “That series will be on Prime and the most remarkable thing about that announcement was that Leonie ter Braak is no longer participating. She is in the films, but does not participate in those series,” she says in her podcast Tina’s TV Update.

RTL doesn’t want it, Tina knows. “Then there is always such an official statement that it is because of an agenda and a full agenda here and there, but I actually think that it has much more to do with the fact that Prime is a major competitor of RTL’s Videoland and As we know, Leonie ter Braak is employed by RTL.”

‘Leonie is disappointed!’

According to her, Leonie is terribly disappointed about it. “I think that Peter van der Vorst and Sven Sauvé simply do not allow her to participate in that series. I think she is very disappointed, because she obviously doesn’t have that much to do at RTL. She may do the program For the Same Money, but that is eight episodes, but otherwise she mainly sits on panels.”

Tina concludes: “So I think she is very disappointed that she is not allowed to participate in the series of those popular Tatta’s. Disappointed for Leonie ter Braak. This also shows you what the bad luck is if you sign a permanent contract with a channel. There are many financial advantages, but also disadvantages if you have to let things like this go.”
