– The transition of the Women’s League from Ruutu to Leijonat TV is a complete joke!
That’s what the HIFK icon said Lennart Petrell on Sunday on Twitter as she watched the Women’s League culminating final between Kiekko-Espoo and HIFK.
He was not alone with his opinion.
– The fifth and decisive finale will be photographed a little later with automatic cameras behind a network that protects viewers, Petrell lamented.
Women’s League Series Leader Pirkka Antila opened up reasons for poor quality for Iltalehti.
– The biggest problem in Espoo is the network that the holding company refuses to delete. It’s something we can’t do anything about, Antila replies.
According to the man, it is quite clear that when there is something between the automatic camera and the game that the camera focuses on, the image quality deteriorates.
According to Antila, there was no similar problem in HIFK’s home games in Pirkkola.
– When I looked at the picture of Pirkkola’s games myself, I didn’t notice any bigger problem.
Antila also reminds that the viewer’s media also has an effect on the quality of the picture when moving in the world of online broadcasting.
– Few viewers remember what their own interface is like. However, it is more important whether the transmission is interrupted or not.
Lions TV was in development throughout the fall. According to Antila, the feedback has been received, but its amount has decreased as the service has developed.
– We have received normal feedback related to the evolving service.
Lions TV is still being developed. It will also expand for next season, but Antila couldn’t yet say for sure if the women’s games will show up from there next season.
– But I wonder if it doesn’t show up, because this was only the first year, and a reasonable amount has been invested in this.
Kiekko-Espoo won the decisive final 8–3 and won the Finnish championship.
