Ex-Bielefeld
Lennart Czyborra already played in the Netherlands from 2018 to January 2020, now the former Bielefeld player is returning. As announced on Saturday, he will join newly promoted Eredivisie PEC Zwolle on a year-long loan from Genoa CFC. For the native of Berlin, who was trained in his youth at Hertha BSC, Energie Cottbus and Schalke 04, among others, this is the fifth professional station at the age of 24.
“I’m looking forward to next year in Zwolle where I will do my best to help the team stay in the Eredivisie. Zwolle’s style of play convinced me to take this step. Let’s have a great season together,” said Czyborra, who meets his German compatriots Luis Görlich and Lennart Thy in Zwolle.

Technical Director Marcel Boudesteyn explained: “As we don’t have the funds to buy Lennart we have come up with this loan construction which can be lucrative for us. The left-back position was a bit understaffed and with the arrival of Lennart we have now solved that problem. Lennart will start training as soon as possible.”
