Touching song
Airisto and Alvesalo described the atmosphere in the church as refined and devout. Airisto says that he particularly liked Samuli Edelmann’s performance. Edelmann sang a song at the blessing ceremony Peggyfor that was Loir’s wish.
– Has Samuli ever sung as beautifully as there? Alvesalo thought, looking at the church.

Airisto laughs with wet eyes that he can imagine a situation when Vesku has asked Edelmann to perform the song in question at the funeral.
– And he (Samuli Edelmann) still squirmed there at the altar that he himself would not sing this song at the funeral, but the order went! Airisto told with a laugh.
Finally, Airisto states that he felt Loir’s presence during the event.
– You could see that until the end Vesku was… He must have been sitting there somewhere and listening to the song, Airisto said with a smile, pointing towards the sky.
