Lendelede soon Bicycle Municipality of the Year?

20,000 people assessed the bicycle policy in their municipality throughout Flanders. Lendelede achieved one of the highest scores in its category, cities and municipalities with a population of up to 20,000.

With 79.5 out of 100 Lendelede gets a decent report, it is also ten points more than the year before. Comfortable cycling or a decent infrastructure for older cyclists has the lowest score in Lendelede, as is the maintenance of the bicycle paths. The report also states that taking dangerous situations seriously, or clearly communicating cycling routes, should be even better.

On May 31, Lendelede will know whether they will win the title. The municipality is up against Peer and Zutendaal.
