Leipzig storms against Rangers with Poulsen

Glasgow (dpa) – RB Leipzig relies on the power of Yussuf Poulsen in the semi-final second leg of the Europa League. The Denmark international starts Thursday at Glasgow Rangers in attack alongside Christopher Nkunku.

Poulsen is preferred to André Silva. “It’s Yussi’s turn now, too. He did well with his substitutions. He’s a bit fresher because André played more,” said RB coach Domenico Tedesco on the TV station RTL +.

National player Lukas Klostermann replaces Mohamed Simakan in defence. Spain international Dani Olmo starts behind the strikers, with Emil Forsberg on the bench. Looking at the crowd, Tedesco said: “All the players know what to expect here. The fans are huge here. We’re looking forward to that.”

After going 1-0 down in the first leg, Rangers start with the same line-up as in Leipzig. Wales international Aaron Ramsey sits on the bench. Striker Kemar Roofe did not get fit in time and is not in the squad due to a knee injury.
