In the first match of the UEFA Europa League play-off round, Leipzig faced Real Sociedad.
The match played at the Red Bull Arena ended in a 2-2 tie. Leipzig’s goals were scored by Nkunku and Forsberg from the penalty spot. Real Sociedad’s goals came from Le Normand and Oyarzabal from the penalty spot.
Leipzig and Real Sociedad will play the UEFA Europa League play-off second leg in Spain on Thursday, 24 February.
