The first round in the DFB Cup is running. On Saturday, the Bundesliga teams could not all master their mandatory tasks with flying colors.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig prevented a embarrassment in the first round of the DFB Cup with Ach and noise. At the regional league team SV Sandhausen, the Leipzigers won 4-2 at the end. Ampadu Wiafe (3rd) had given Sandhausen in the lead early, quickly balanced Yan Diomande (6th). After the outsider had met again by Jahn Herrmann (18th), Willi Orban (23rd), Ezechiel Banzuzi (79.) and Xavi Simons (90.+6) turned the game at the end of the Leipziger.

FC St. Pauli, on the other hand, was able to prevent the early from against regional league club Eintracht Norderstedt. The Hamburgers prevailed in penalty shootouts (0: 0 nv, 2: 3 IE). Jonas BeiUnek crucially failed to goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj in penalty shooting for Norderstedt. Previously, Philipp Koch shot over it, Manuel Brendel only hit the crossbar. So St. Pauli was enough transformed penalty.

For the outsider from Norderstedt-a small town at the gates of Hamburg-the “derby” against the first division team meant the greatest game in the 80th anniversary of the club. That is why both teams had agreed to move to the home of the Kiezklub, the game would normally have taken place in the 5068 places.

VfL Wolfsburg, on the other hand, did not bare SV Hemelingen from the Bremen League and clearly won 9-0 in the end. Moritz Jenz (13.), Andreas Skov Olsen (14th), Lovro Majer (39./Foulelfmeter), Dzenan Pejcinovic (53./76./81.), Mattias Svanberg (61./71.) And Vaclav Cerny (72.) met for the high -superior wolves.

Also further: 1. FC Heidenheim, who won 5-0 at the Bahlinger SC. In the Kaiserstuhlstadion, Leonardo Scienza (9th minute/61.), Mathias Honsak (34th), Mikkel Kaufmann (77th) and Sirlord Conteh (83.) scored the goals for the team of coach Frank Schmidt. FCH keeper Diant Ramaj parried a penalty (57th). The trophy was recently a competition for Heidenheim to forget. Since the 2018/2019 season, the club has not got beyond the second round.

Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim gave Hansa Rostock no chance at 4-0. Coach Christian Ilzer offered seven new players from the start. With Wouter Burger (37th) one of them took the lead, the young hopeful Max Moerstedt (71./86.) And Fisnik Asllani (83.) brought the decision.

It was still playful here and there at Hoffenheim, which had long had to worry about relegation in the past season. The favorite initially only partially showed the momentum without a single defeat, in which an imposing 8: 0 against the French first division club FC Metz was recently. The hosts went into the game with the confidence of four points from the first two third division games and defended properly.
