The water polo women of ZVL-1886 failed to beat GZC Donk in the quarterfinals of the play-offs. Both Friday and Saturday the match was decided with penalties, both times ZVL drew the short straw. With this, ZVL is now eliminated in the battle for the national title in the Eredivisie.
