LED lighting for Ypres belfry tower
The historic building, which is a World Heritage Site and has been restored since the end of 2020, received new lamps. It concerns LED lighting, which is not only more sustainable than the former light bulbs. The iconic building is now also better illuminated at night.
Restoration work on the belfry included the removal of the old lights. Meanwhile, the technical service was looking forward to a new and more sustainable solution. And it has now been realized.
Meanwhile, the restoration of the belfry continues. If everything goes according to plan, this will last until 2026.
