Offensive-minded full-backs are definitely of use and Real has traditionally played with exactly such full-backs for decades.
World-class full-backs who are particularly strong defensively can usually also do something offensively when they are not challenged at the back. Players like Davies are quickly overwhelmed when there is pressure at the back. If you can get a big transfer fee and Davies is interested, you should see if you can sell him and get an AV who is particularly strong defensively. The offensive is currently the best Bayern have had in many years. Kane and Sané in particular harmonize so well. Plus Musiala, Gnabry, Müller and Coman. Gnabry is falling off a bit at the moment, but nevertheless it is so strong that it is hardly necessary for Davies to mainly mess around with the opposing 16s.

I only read part of your post and stopped at the part about defensive etc. Davis turned to offensive. Madrid needs exactly such a player. If you have watched the games this season you can see how high the AV is. Since you play with a diamond, the width is missing. Mendy has a bench defensively and unfortunately there is something missing up front. Unfortunately, Garcia is missing a little bit of both. Dani is doing it really well this season. A Davis on the left would fit Vini perfectly. Collectively, this would all fit in very well. See Marcelo, similar to Davis.
