After three starts abroad, the Tour de France returns home in 2025.
The Grand Départ of the 112th edition of the world’s most important cycling race will take place in the Lille region of northern France. The organizer ASO announced this on Tuesday (November 14th, 2023). Details of the first stages will be presented on November 30th in Lille.
Last year the tour began in Copenhagen, and the Great Loop in the Basque Country started on July 1, 2023. Next year the Grand Départ will take place in Florence. In addition, because of the Olympic Games, the tour will for the first time not end in Paris but in Nice.
