Learning costs money – even in Berlin

There is no climbing frame. Sure, one could smile at this problem at the Hermsdorf Gustav Dreyer School. But in the light of day, it’s more like crying.

This case is symptomatic of how students and schools are treated in this city.

This starts with dilapidated buildings, continues with large class sizes and ends with digitization at Stone Age level.

When will those responsible finally understand that education costs and has to cost?

If we later want to have engineers, scientists, IT experts who are supposed to advance our city, our country, then we have to invest in schools, in education.

It starts with a climbing frame, continues with a laptop and stable internet – right up to a renovated school building where learning is fun.
