League: KooKoo – Pelicans and HPK – Lukko

Pelicans and HPK are bound to win for the season to continue.

The leagues of the first round of the playoffs will be decided in the league on Friday. KooKoo and Lukko lead their series with victories 1–0.

Pelicans and HPK, in turn, need wins to fight for the season to continue.

In Kouvola, KooKoo – Pelicans are in a 2–3 situation after two batches.

In the opening round, the people of Lahti immediately showed that they were fighting for a fingernail from the extension. Iikka Kangasniemi took the people from Lahti first in 7.54.

The next goal was seen just 27 seconds later when Jiri Smejkal succeeded in his free kick. On Thursday, Smejkal, who received a penalty for overthrowing a referee, misled and raised the puck to the ceiling.

If the Pelicans and HPK win by any result in regular time, the matches will be played in five-on-five games. 20-minute extra time will be scored until either team scores and completes the series.

A tie or a win is enough for KooKoo and Luko.
