In the first season Lea had to overcome the loss of a son and she managed to do it thanks to her colleagues and friends Arthur, a musician who will make her heart reopen. In this second season the nurse in the pediatric department lives with Arturo and his daughter, the teenager Martina. Marco, on the other hand, has to fight with his ex-partner Anna for custody of his daughter Gioia.
Lea – Our children: the plot
We meet again with the characters we met in the first season of the fiction Lea a new day three years later. Lea (Anna Valle) once again wears the scrubs of a specialized nurse in the pediatric department at the Ferrara hospital. She now lives with Arturo (Mehmet Günsür), the musician and the man who made her discover the possibility of loving again and having a family after the tragic loss of a child. Lea, in fact, acts as a mother to Martina, Arturo’s teenage daughter.
Marco (Giorgio Pasotti), head of pediatrics and Lea’s ex-husband, is a separated father and with difficulty he manages to reconcile the management of his daughter Gioia and the stormy relationship with his ex-partner Anna (who now has a new partner, Nicola). Lea and Marco work in the same department of the hospital in the Emilian city and inevitably meet in the corridors. Will the spark fly again? Maybe their love didn’t end as they thought?
As for Delia and Alberto in Hearts, also in this fiction the protagonists continually confront each other in the workplace, on new cases and on new patients. But they will also have to deal with their own feelings, trying not to lie to each other. In the department, at the historical group of Lea’s nurse colleagues, made up of Rosa, Favilla, Olga and Michela (who is about to marry the pediatrician Pietro), one is added new entry, Brunowhich hides a secret.
An accident involving Arturo’s daughter is investigated
Lea, Arturo and his daughter Martina they live together, they are a family like many others. The nurse’s dream came true after the pain she went through in the previous season. Arturo’s career often takes him to work in London, where he is realizing his new musical project. There distance will lead Lea to often confront her ex-husband Marcowho in the meantime has formed a good bond with the police officer Valeria Maestro (Claudia Vismara).
Valeria is investigating an accident involving a car and a moped Martina and her friend Lupo. The two had an appointment with someone, but Lea and Arturo knew nothing about it. Martina is trying to get to know her biological mother. He was behind the wheel of the car Sofia Mereua young babysitter traveling with little Camilla, who doesn’t wake up.

Sofia’s (Angela Curri) version of the dynamics of the accident is unclear and contradictory. What is the babysitter hiding? Arturo works in London with Emma Ronchi, a music producer with whom he seems to have a good understanding. Meanwhile in Ferrara Marco discovers that on the day of the accident Martina was supposed to meet her alleged mother.
Alongside the main ones of the protagonists, there are other narrative lines that tell the stories of the secondary characters. As happened with Helmut, Fausto and Ginevra in Hearts 2. Next to Lea are the nurses and friends Rosa, Favilla, Olga and Michela.
The pediatrician Pietro (Primo Reggiani), despite the disapproval of Michela’s father, asks his beloved colleague to marry him. She accepts without hesitation. In the meantime, a male nurse is added to the group of women Bruno Linda who intrigues his colleagues. Olga, on the other hand, faces yet another disappointment in love.
