Last week, the Story turned out big on the cover with paparazzi photos of the ‘caught’ Marco Borsato and his ex-lover Leontine Ruiters. ‘What the outside world doesn’t know: Marco Borsato’s secret visits to Leontine’, was the headline. And also: ‘In het Gooi it would not surprise anyone if Leontine and Marco get back together.’
Grinning Marco
A love reunion between Marco and Leontine is where the Story by pre-sorted. “That is perhaps the explanation why the singer has been seen more and more often with a jolly grin on his face,” said editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker.
However, according to Evert Santegoeds, the boss of the competing Privé, this suggestion is not correct. “Marco and Leontine are seen together, but they also have a few children of course. But it is not the case that that relationship will be completely picked up again,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private.
‘Back with John’
Evert states that Leontine has been spotted with John Huiberts again, the wealthy entrepreneur who broke up with her in February. “The man who became so incredibly rich with a plastic that forms a kind of varnish over all kinds of products that we use every day. He did very well with that.”
He continues: “At first, that relationship seemed to be over after three or four months. And now, three or four months later, they are visiting each other again. And traveling together again. Yes, that still gives hope for the future.”

What does Yvonne Coldeweijer say based on her spy army? She leans on her juice channel Everett’s story. “Last week, Story revealed that Marco and Leontine are having ‘secret meetings’ at Leo’s house again.
