The changes? They are choices dictated by the moment and by wanting to bring in fresh people. We also changed the game system to try to increase the offensive pressure but Udinese brought kilos and centimeters into the area and made life difficult for us. Ciro and Taty together? They are two central strikers, it’s difficult. They risk stepping on each other’s toes, these conditions do not exist at the moment. Maybe with a little time we can work on it but at the moment these conditions are lacking.
Unfortunately in the last 20 days we have played every 4 days with high level teams. Apart from the match in Turin, which we won despite difficulties, there was a constant chasing. We were in difficulty against Milan, against Bologna after the Champions League match. As a result, you arrive at matches short of breath in terms of mental, not physical, energy. The fact that we were coming off three defeats put us in difficulty.
There were some moments in which the team had fun, a good run in the Champions League. Then for what we want to propose we need a spirit of fun and dynamism. Things the kids showed us. But the biggest mistake is comparing this championship with the last one. Then now after the third/fourth defeat it is also difficult to recall certain comparisons.
