Lazio market, Issa Diop: a new name for Sarri with the Eagle in the destiny

In Tare’s notebook recently flown to London there is also the name of Issa Diop who has a particular bond with the biancoceleste club

We have told you of the trip of the biancoceleste ds Tare to London. It would seem that the reasons for the trip were many: from the speeches regarding Emerson Palmier and Loftus-Cheek to the indiscretion of the interest of the Chelsea for Milinkovic-Savic. The Albanian manager, however, seems to have also used the trip to monitor another player: West Ham central defender Issa Diop. His name was already hovering recently in Lazio orbit. After days in which it seemed like one of the many market rumors, in the past few hours something seems to have changed.

Born in 1997 Diop is a gifted defender with great physicality thanks to its 194 centimeters; with the London team since 2018. The name of the French central is not unknown in Europe so much so that in 2019 it reached the valuation of 35 million euros; absolute respect for a central defender. Now, with his contract expiring in June 2023, his future looks set to be far from London with Tare making careful assessments of the player. Romagnoli first and then Casale represent the two paths already traced for the biancoceleste defensive department but to complete the department with Diop it could represent an interesting opportunity also in view of Lazio’s cup commitments.

Sometimes the fate that binds you in football is surprising in its unpredictability. Diop and Lazio also have never crossed paths and share a uniqueness. Both, in fact, are born on the same day: January 9th. Even with 97 years of delay Issa Diop already has a bit of Lazio inside of him and only in the next few days will it be understood whether that little will increase. For a January 9 that goes, there is one that is coming, we could say paraphrasing the famous proverb. Lucas Leiva, who recently greeted Lazio, also shared the date of birth with the capital’s first team. The post is now vacant and Issa Diop could fill the gap
