Lawyer Prince Laurent responds to Libyan complaint: “They wanted to repay Prince Laurent, on the condition that he gave six million euros to their lawyer” | Interior

Prince Laurent (59) is being charged by the investment company of the Libyan government with fraud, extortion and unlawful interference with justice. “What Libya wrongly accuses the prince of, it has been doing in Italy for years,” said Paolo Iorio, Laurent’s Roman lawyer. “Libya has won all cases against creditors there, thanks in part to intimidation and corruption. That is why they think that Belgium will also succeed.”
