Lawyer of deceased Russian opposition leader Navalny arrested and released | Abroad

Dubkov, who was detained for a short time, refused to elaborate on the reason for his arrest, but told the independent news medium ‘Verstka’ that it was an obstacle to his work as a lawyer.

Navalny died on February 16 at the age of 47 under suspicious circumstances in a penal colony. His remains were only handed over to the family a few days ago.

Many world leaders immediately pointed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin as responsible for Navalny’s death: including US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and European Council President Charles Michel. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau even called Putin a “monster.”
