the new zealand Liam Lawson (Carlin) is the new F2 leader after taking his first win of the season in the sprint race at Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Juri Vips (Hitech), finished second after a ‘photofinish’ finish, ahead of Jake Hughes (VAR).
vips he snatched second place from Hughes at the last minute, crossing the finish line just a tenth ahead of the Briton, following a final lap battle that ensued after a virtual safety car.

The problems of Hauger have given provisional leadership to Calam Williams (Trideny) but after the second safety car, Hughes and then Lawson and Vips have gone on to lead the race, risking victory in a very tight finish.
