The Place in Lauwe will have three times more space for terraces, water features and facilities for events. The place will be a green environment that will remain easily accessible. Two-way traffic remains, but the road narrows and trucks are banned. The surroundings of the Sint-Bavokerk and Lauweplaats are divided into four zones, including a village square next to the church and a garden behind the church.
