Musician Lauri Tähkä, 48, posted new information about his plans for the fall on his Instagram account. He says one of his dreams will come true at record release gigs.

This is the latest album Everything has a meaning -single will appear shortly. The new album, which bears the name of the single, will be released on September 16th.

Tähkä is celebrating the upcoming album, as he has great news.

–For 15 years I have dreamed of a gig like this and a round stage among people. As a counterbalance to the big stadium gigs, it feels really good to get the audience close.

The record release gigs will be held at the Dome, which will be built on the Citizen’s Square. The cone appears there on a round stage from which the whole audience can be seen.

– It feels especially good that this happens just when we are on the verge of something new, and even at record release gigs.

The upcoming album is Tähkän Viides sololevy. This is the latest album Our Future Days has been released in 2019. It won the album of the year for the album of the year at the Emma Gala.

The musician became known from the band Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu, founded in the 21st century. The band recorded eight albums. Tähkä continued his 2011 solo career.

In addition to smaller venues, he has performed at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium and Hartwall Arena. The upcoming Kupoli gig is one of the biggest gigs in Tähkä during his solo career.

The arrangement is special, as a transparent dome will be built on the public square for Tähkä’s gigs. He gets to climb a new gig venue in the fall.
