Lauri Markkanen was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Monday.
Markkanen was the best on the field again last night, when the Utah Jazz beat the Indiana Pacers 132–105. Markkanen’s balance was 32 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists.
Before the match, Markkanen received enormous praise from the former head coach of the Dallas Mavericks From Rick Carlisle. Carlisle compared the Finnish player to the German NBA legend to Dirk Nowitzki.
