The Utah Jazz continued their excellent early season in the NBA.
Lauri Markkanen scored 23 points in a Utah shirt as the Jazz beat the Memphis Grizzlies 124-123. The Finnish star was Utah’s best power man. He grabbed nine rebounds and made five assists leading to the basket.
Memphis had started the season with four wins and one loss. The second loss of the season was recorded in Salt Lake City.
Utah was kicked in the tail end in the preseason. So far, the game has gone well with five wins and only two losses. Silä leaves the third place in the Western Conference.
Last season, Memphis was number one in its division and fell to the Golden State Warriors, who won the championship, in the conference semifinals.
