The Utah Jazz defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA round after overtime with a score of 120-119.

In his first game after the all-star game Lauri Markkanen turned into an excellent shot. Jazz’s number one star bagged no less than 43 points and grabbed ten rebounds and gave three assists.

The Finn entered the statistics with his second-highest point balance of the season, although only three of the 12 three-point attempts were successful.

Markkanen emerged in the last seconds of extra time, when the match was decided. With four seconds left in the game, he cold-bloodedly sank three free throws that pulled the Jazz from a two-point deficit to a one-point lead that lasted until the end.

At the end of the NBA transfer window, the weakened Jazz are in the last playoff spot in the league’s Western Conference, i.e. tenth. Oklahoma, which fell in the match of the night, is ranked 11th.
