The night before Monday, Lauri Markkase became the first player in NBA history to make 100 dunks and 200 three-pointers in one season.

Markkanen returned to the field against the Brooklyn Nets after missing two games due to a hand injury. The Utah Jazz narrowly lost 110-111.

The Finn scored 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made two assists.

Throwing, however, was a bit off – perhaps due to a hand injury. Only one out of eight of Markkanen’s three-point attempts sank in.

Jazz played a great game in the match, but it was not rewarded. At worst, the team was 23 points behind the Nets and got within a point, but no closer.

The Jazz are in 12th place in the NBA’s Western Conference. They are two wins away from the Oklahoma City Thunder, who hold the last playoff spot. The Jazz have four games left and the Thunder three. The teams face each other once more.
