Laurence Bauffe wants to show with book about eating disorder that recovery is possible

Laurence Bauffe struggles with an eating disorder since she was 18. What follows is a series of ups and downs. But last year, Laurence now has two children, it is really enough: she is admitted. Four months in a hospital in Ghent. Since then, Laurence is doing much better.

With a book she now also wants to show fellow sufferers that recovery is really possible. And help break the taboo surrounding mental illness among the general public. Not only with her new book, Laurence also regularly shares her story with her nearly 11,000 followers on Instagram.

“Although I am very curious about the reactions, this story has already succeeded for me. The writing has helped me in my recovery process, which is still going on. The view of the publication has motivated me to keep going, because this had to and would have a happy ending. The fact that my children will be able to read everything later gives me such peace of mind.”

Day Eating Disorder. Enough is enough has been spent at Lannoo.
