The baby is the first joint between Malmivaara and his wife Sam. Malmivaara has a director from his previous alliance Aku Louhimiehen with 17-year-old Alma girl and 15-year-old Aino. Malmivaara was married to Louhimiehi from 2003 to 2012.

Malmivaara has been with her visual artist husband for a long time. The duo once met in a nightclub in Helsinki.
