The lingerie label Soda has opened its first store in Vienna.
The store is located at Neubaugasse 45 and offers the entire range of soft bras, panties, bodies and swimwear on 30 square meters of retail space, Soda told FashionUnited. The pieces, which cost between 45 euros for panties and 110 euros for a body, are all made by hand in the Viennese studio.
Soda Lingerie was founded a little over two years ago by Susanna Gangl and Severin Wiesbauer to bring the creation process of textiles closer to customers.
Next stop: Berlin
After several pop-ups – including in Vienna, Graz and next September also in Berlin – and the sale via its own online shop, Soda is now represented with its first permanent store. The brand is currently not active in wholesale because the margins of local production do not allow it, explains Wiesbauer. No further expansion steps are currently planned. But if the store in Vienna does well, Berlin would be the next stop, according to the co-founder.
