The excitement continues in the EURO 2024 European Football Championship Qualifiers. Latvia and Croatia duke it out in Group D, where our National Team took part. Referee Urs Schnyder blew the whistle in the match played at Skonto Stadium.
The away team won the match 2-0 and got 3 points. The goals that brought Croatia the victory were scored by Lovro Majer in the 7th minute and Andrej Kramaric in the 16th minute.
With this result, Croatia increased its points to 13 and continued its claim to get out of the group. Latvia was in last place with 3 points.
With a critical victory to get out of the group, the Croatians moved 2 points ahead of their closest rival, Wales. Croatia will host Armenia in the last match of the group on Tuesday, November 21.
