The beauty trend that went viral during the spring season, made up of light make-up with just a veil of lip balm and perfumes with a delicious bouquet, has evolved. The new trend that emerged on TikTok is called “Latte makeup” and within a week it has already generated 28.4M views. Here’s what it is.
Milk make up: the new summer beauty trend from TikTok
The hashtag #lattemakeup is the hottest of the moment: a give rise to this style was the creator Rachel Rigler in a video tutorial where she showed how to recreate a hot and tanned beauty lookusing exclusively shade colors that are very reminiscent of the color of café au lait. Hence the name.
Inspired by the work of makeup artist Tanielle Jai, the Milk makeup is very easy to make and immediately gives a relaxed and holiday allure. Must-have to replicate the trend, a nude eyeshadow palettes in warm tones, such as caramel, hazelnut, cream, vanilla.

The secret of the MUA for a good result? Prefer eyeshadows and bronzers with beige or neutral undertones – more suitable to evoke the tanned effect – and avoid those with red pigments inside.
Milk makeup: how to make it step by step
While there’s no single way to achieve this summer makeup look, there are more tutorials on TikTok and everyone agrees on some details.
The base must be natural, light and with minimal coverage, acting exclusively on discolorations and imperfections. Suitable therefore in this case are the CC Creams that offer color and SPF protection in a single gesture.
Important – and not to be overlooked – is the contouring, very light, which allows you to sculpt the oval of the face. For this step, the powder bronzer to be applied on the cheekbones, forehead and along the jawline. Not only that, but also on the lower lash line and all around the eyes to open up the gaze.
Brown pencil, mascara and nude eyeshadow
The eyes are in the foreground, with monochromatic nuances that recall the colors of milk.
