Hello. Catalonia is still pending this Friday, June 17, of the evolution of the various forest fires declared this week. The head of the Fire Department of the Generalitat, David Borrell, warned last night of the potential of the fire declared in Lladurs (Solsonès, Lleida), which could devastate up to 50,000 hectares, for which they will put “all efforts” to be able to stabilize it today. Regarding the fire in Artesa de Segre, Borrell stated that it has been possible to contain the right flank, preventing the flames from entering the Segre valley, while the left flank is still active.
