Fifty truck drivers are leading a slow march of tractor units this morning through various roads in the Baix Llobregat region of Barcelona, although the retentions are the usual ones in the early hours of the morning, according to sources from the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT). The truck drivers left Gavà (Baix Llobregat) and then headed for the B-23 until they reached the A-2 motorway, in the direction of the Catalan capital. The Guild of Transport and Logistics of Catalonia has described as “insufficient” and “inconcrete” the measures that the Government has proposed so far to help the road transport sector and has demanded that the stability of fuel prices be guaranteed . In a statement, this organization has warned that if “exceptional” measures are not taken so that this group can work “in minimum conditions of profitability” a situation similar to the economic crisis of 2008 will be created, when “thousands of carriers” disappeared. .
