The PNV-PSOE pact includes specific clauses for Navarra and calls for starting negotiations to transfer R&D&I and scholarships
The PNV-PSOE agreement, signed this Friday to enable the investiture of Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government, includes “specific clauses” for Navarra, such as the demand that the regional Community advance “in the development” of its powers and transfer, in the six-month period, the subjects of research, development and innovation and scholarships. The text highlights the commitment, among the signatories, to “advance in the full development of the powers established in the Improvement” and to proceed to the “immediate start of negotiations” by the Government of the Foral Community for the transfer, by the State , of the “powers recognized in Navarra by the Organic Law of Reintegration and Improvement of the Foral Regime of Navarra (LORAFNA)”, within a period of six months. In this sense, it demands that the subjects of research, development and innovation, as well as scholarships, be transferred. The references to Navarra in the document are also included in the chapter relating to the process of determining the deficit objectives, which will be carried out, as in Euskadi, “within the framework of the Joint Commission of the Convention.”
