The UN warns that Israel is tripling its ground and air attacks against Gaza
Geneva, Oct 24 (EFE).- The Israeli Defense Forces’ offensive against Gaza is intensifying, with 320 attacks in the last 24 hours, triple that of previous days, the United Nations warned today, after one of the days with more civilian casualties in Gaza (436) since the start of hostilities on October 7.
According to the daily report of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Monday’s attacks included bombings against a refugee camp in Jabalia (northern of the strip) that caused 63 deaths, but also in areas of southern Gaza at that Israel has theoretically ordered the evacuation of civilians, such as Rafah (at least 43 victims) and Khan Yunis (11).
The United Nations recalled, citing figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health, that since October 7, 5,087 Palestinians have died, including at least 2,055 children and 1,119 women, while the injured number 15,273.
