Chaotic advance sales last year
The original advance booking for Oasis tickets last year had already attracted enormous attention: According to the BBC, around ten million people from 158 countries tried to get one of the approximately 1.4 million tickets for the UK appointments. The great demand led to long waiting times and resentment over the price model used.
There was criticism in particular of the “Dynamic Pricing” of Ticketmaster, in which the ticket prices fluctuate greatly depending on demand. In some cases, the costs per ticket rose to over £ 350. The band later made it clear that it was not involved in the pricing and had left all decisions about it to the organizers.
“Oasis Live ’25” tour starts soon
The tour starts on July 4th in Cardiff and leads Oasis through Great Britain, North America, Asia and South America until November. An additional ticket contingent could be the last opportunity for many fans to experience the band live together after 15 years.
